Condition Survey

This type of inspection survey is treated the most comprehensive one, and is a prerequisite when purchasing a new or used vessel. Overall operation and sea worthiness of the vessel should be examined. PT. HMS Surveyor is to ensure and verify structural integrity, the fuel system, electrical systems, other machinery, navigation equipment, the propulsion system miscellaneous on-board systems, cosmetic appearance, electronics, and overall maintenance as well as an out-of-water inspection.

This inspection is needed for the insurance company to establish whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. Most insurance companies require a survey on older boats and also want to know the vessels fair market value and replacement cost.
